André G. Travieso has years of experience in handling state and federal criminal law cases in New York and New Jersey.  Most recently, Mr. Travieso won a six-figure case for a client that had been wrongfully imprisoned and subsequently exonerated for the crime of which he was convicted due to faulty DNA results.  Additionally, Mr. Travieso has won and obtained acquittals, dismissals and other successful outcomes in every conceivable type of criminal case, including drug conspiracies, robbery, gun possession, DWI and other numerous crimes.

Travieso Law also supplies the legal backbone for small and mid-sized corporations with annual revenue of over five million dollars a year. As chief negotiator, Mr. Travieso is charged with managing all corporate engagements by negotiating and drafting management production and asset purchase agreements.  Mr. Travieso has negotiated multi-million dollar agreements on behalf of his clients with major music labels and sports and entertainment production companies.  Mr. Travieso garnered his expertise as a corporate attorney with nearly a decade of employment in the legal field at some of New York’s finest and most prestigious firms, including Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel, LLP, Brown & Wood, LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP. At Kramer Levin, he specialized in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Travieso is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A.) and of Rutgers Law School (J.D.). He is also a nationally published author in the field of employee free speech and his legal insight and article Employee Free Speech Rights in the Workplace: Balancing the First Amendment Against Racist Speech by Police Officers has been cited by leading experts in the First Amendment field. And just as exciting, André fought as an amateur boxer for many years. Having competed and won the Junior Olympics, the New York City Kid Gloves and many other state and national tournaments, André was also afforded the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico, Cuba and Denmark as part of a National Boxing team.
